Communications Director

TomboyX, a gender inclusive underwear and loungewear e-commerce company, made waves when it launched. One of the first places to make pieces that could fit outside the apparel binary, it was both a passion project and a smart business plan.

As their Communications Director, I helped lead the re-brand to bring TomboyX into their next iteration. As their customer base grew, their voice, PR strategy, and content needed to keep up. I developed a fresh take on their brand voice, updated their tagline, and led content strategy as well as PR strategy during the pandemic.

  • Redefined brand voice across all channels to a 1.6% increase in conversion

  • Wrote new brand tagline and value statements

  • Scripted original video content for media placement

  • Developed and executed social media and PR strategy with an average of 30% MoM growth in channels and an average of 3 national placements per month
